BLOOD BROTHERS TOUR
Blood Brothers is Willy Russell's moving tale of Liverpudlian twins who are separated at birth and grow up on opposite sides of the tracks.
When they do finally discover one another the musical takes you through the pressing social issues of inequality and employment until it ends with tragic consequences.
The haunting score includes "Bright New Day", "Marilyn Monroe" and the emotional hit "Tell Me It’s Not True"
Casting news for the new 2024 tour is that Vivienne Carlyle is set to reprise the role of Mrs Johnstone, having played the character in the show’s West End production. Sean Jones and Joe Sleight will return to the production as twins Mickey and Eddie, while Gemma Brodrick will reprise the role of Linda.
Also returning are Sarah Jane Buckley (as Mrs Lyons), Scott Anson (as Narrator), Tim Churchill (as Mr Lyons), Chloe Pole (as Donna Marie), Alex Harland (as Policeman/Teacher), Graeme Kinniburgh (as Postman/Bus Conductor) and Jess Smith (as Brenda).
New additions to the cast include James Ledsham (as Sammy), Ben Mabberley (as Perkins) and Dominic Gore (as Neighbour).
Bill Kenwright and Bob Tomson’s production of Willy Russell’s seminal musical has been touring the nation for a long time , and features musical direction by Matt Malone, sound by Dan Samson, set and costume by Andy Walmsley and lighting by Nick Richings
