PRETTY WOMAN THE MUSICAL TOUR
The producers of the smash hit PRETTY WOMAN: THE MUSICAL are delighted to announce that the show is to embark on an extensive UK and Ireland Tour opening at the Birmingham Alexandra Theatre on 17 October 2023 and currently ending in Sheffield in September 2024. The new touring cast includes .Amber Davies (9 to 5, Back to the Future) will star as Vivian Ward with Oliver Savile (Annie Gwt Your Gun, Wicked) as Edward, with Ore Oduba (Curtains, The Rocky Horror Show) playing Happy Man/ Mr Thompson and Natalie Paris (SIX) as Kit De Luca.
They are joined by Becky Anderson, Rebekah Bryant, Josh Damer-Jennings, Ben Darcy, Andrew Davison, Lila Falce-Bass, Noah Harrison, Sydnie Hocknell, Elly Jay, Rachael Kendall Brown, Michael Kholwadia, Joshua Lear, Stuart Maciver, Victoria Rachael McCabe, Eleanor Morrison-Halliday, LJ Neilson, Annell Odartey, Curtis Patrick and Chomba Taulo.
Based on one of the most beloved romantic comedies of all time, this modern spin on Cinderella is the story of a high powered businessman and an escort who make unlikely soulmates, but despite the odds the two learn that their connection goes beyond a simple transaction.This contemporary theatrical take on the iconic love story really makes you believe in the power of "Happily Ever After."
It has original music and lyrics by Grammy Award winner Bryan Adams and his longtime songwriting partner Jim Vallance, a book by Garry Marshall and the film's screenwriter J F Lawton, with direction and choreography by two-time Tony Award winner Jerry Mitchell (Kinky Boots, Hairspray), with set by David Rockwell, costume by Gregg Barnes, lighting by Kenneth Posner and Philip S Rosenberg, orchestration by Will Van Dyke and sound by John Shivers..
